In June 2014 Keith had an accident while flying a kite which left him with a brain injury. Keith was a member of his local RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR) group and was training to become a driving instructor, but due to the seriousness of his injury and fearing that he would never be able to drive again, Keith surrendered his driving licence to DVLA. However, as his condition improved, he felt that it was time to regain his licence, and three years later, following a driving assessment at Cornwall Mobility, Keith is now back behind the wheel and has regained his RoSPA advanced test standard, too!
